I think we’re just at the tip of the ice berg. No doubt we will see a giant boom in blockchain based security tech in 2018.

https://www.civic.com/ is an amazing company (with a real working blockchain based product that you can download today - something unheard of among the sea of ICOs & Tokens that currently exist) that is doing away with usernames & passwords. Truly game changing stuff.
And finally https://polyswarm.io/ is working on a decentralized marketplace where security experts build anti-malware engines that compete to protect you.
When it comes to blockchain based security tech, things are just starting to heat up.
